About us
Trailers built by people who actually use them.
Qualtrailers started in a small workshop in Gauteng in 2014. A decade later, we're one of South Africa's most trusted names in mobile food trailers, sanitation units, cargo trailers, and refrigerated trailers — with thousands of units running every day from spaza shops to construction sites to major event venues.
Our story
We were tired of seeing small business owners pay too much for trailers that fell apart in their first rainy season. So we set out to do it differently — better steel, smarter design, fair pricing, and a team you can actually phone.
Today, our trailers serve street-food entrepreneurs, event managers, farmers, builders, logistics operators, schools, churches, mines, and municipalities. We've helped people start businesses with our spaza shop trailers, and supplied luxury VIP toilets for some of South Africa's biggest weddings.
We don't have a flashy showroom or a celebrity ambassador. What we do have is a workshop full of fabricators who care about their work, and a customer list that keeps growing because our trailers keep working.
Milestones

What we stand for
Four simple ideas that shape everything we build and every conversation we have with a customer.
Built for the road
Every trailer is engineered for South African conditions — gravel, potholes, dust, sun. We build steel frames that take a beating and keep working.
Honest pricing
Prices are listed openly on every product page. No hidden fees, no inflated quotes. What you see is what you pay.
Aftersales that shows up
A trailer is only as good as the people behind it. Our team answers calls, sends parts, and stands by every weld we put down.
Locally rooted
Designed, fabricated, and supported in South Africa. We understand the businesses our trailers serve because we sit next to them every day.
