1. About these terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Qualtrailers website (qualtrailers.co.za) and any orders placed through it. By using the website or placing an order you agree to be bound by these terms. Qualtrailers (Pty) Ltd is registered in South Africa.

2. Products and pricing

All prices displayed on the website are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where indicated. Prices are subject to change without notice. The price at the time you submit your order is the price you will pay.

Product descriptions, specifications, and images are provided in good faith but may contain typographical errors. We reserve the right to correct errors and cancel orders placed at incorrect prices, with a full refund issued.

Delivery costs are not included in the product price and are quoted separately based on your location and the size of the trailer.

3. Ordering

By submitting an order on our website, you are making an offer to purchase the product(s) listed. We will send you an order confirmation email — this confirms we have received your order, not that it has been accepted. Your order is accepted only once we have confirmed receipt of your EFT payment.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order at our discretion, including due to stock availability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud. If we cancel an order, a full refund will be issued.

4. Payment

Payment is by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) only. You must use the unique reference provided in your order confirmation email. Payments without a valid reference may cause delays or be unallocated.

Orders are only processed once EFT payment has been received and manually verified. You should send proof of payment to the email address provided in your order confirmation. Verification typically takes 1 business day.

5. Delivery

We deliver throughout South Africa. Delivery times are estimates only and may vary. We are not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers, adverse weather, or other circumstances outside our control.

Risk of loss or damage passes to you once the trailer has been signed for at delivery or collected from our workshop. Ownership passes to you on receipt of full payment.

6. Warranty

Qualtrailers products carry a 12-month warranty on chassis and body against manufacturing defects under normal use conditions. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, overloading, accidents, modifications, or normal wear and tear.

To make a warranty claim, contact us within the warranty period with your order reference, photos, and a description of the defect.

7. Returns and refunds

Our full return and refund policy is available at /policies. In summary: non-custom trailers may be returned within 7 days of delivery, subject to inspection and a restocking fee. Custom builds are non-refundable once production begins.

8. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, graphics, and product descriptions — is owned by or licensed to Qualtrailers (Pty) Ltd. You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute any content without our written permission.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Qualtrailers is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the price you paid for the relevant product.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
